Testing, testing and more testing...

Now we're not claiming that either of these images should be considered a masterpiece but they do show that the SP-8x10+ can process both 4x5 (left) and 5x7 (right). Click on the images for full sized versions on Flickr.

Right now, we're busy optimizing the hold down tabs/dividers. Several people have recommended that we implement something similar to the little pegs that the Paterson Orbital processor used. We're not so sure but are considering the idea. After all, that's what development projects are all about: build it; test it; tweak it and repeat.

The crowdfunding campaign is going well. (Click here to back the project.) After the first week, we're at 25%. Note that this is a real world estimate since, unlike major crowdfunding sites, we aren't including the shipping cost in the percentage. After all, shipping fees don't help build the molds, (in fact, including them just distorts the financial picture.)

Speaking of shipping costs, we are aware that shipping overseas is rather pricey. If the SP-8x10+ enters production, we hope to ship any pre-orders direct from our warehouse in Asia. This would significantly reduce the cost to ship to Europe and we should have more details in a week or so. Of course, any extra funds collected for shipping would be refunded.

What's next?  More testing. In fact, if you're in the Denver area and want to try it out, give us a call and we'll see what we can arrange.
