Fomapan 100: boasts a "classic" style emulsion that renders deep blacks, crisp whites and beautiful grays. It is a panchromatically sensitized, black and white negative film rated at ISO 100/21. This film is characterized by high resolution, wide exposure latitude and fine grain. Great for the novice refining their skills and for the expert seeking to replicate the vintage look of yesteryear.
FOMAPAN 200: Creative is panchromatically sensitized, black and white negative film rated at ISO 200/24°. This new generation film features hexagonal core/shell tabular silver halide grains that results in excellent resolving power and low granularity.
Its wide exposure latitude allows exposures in the speed range from ISO 100/21° to 800/30° without change of development time.
Fomapan 400: is another "classic" style emulsion and reminds us of the original Tri-X from the 80's. It is a panchromatically sensitized, black and white negative film rated at ISO 400/21. Perfect for use in less than ideal lighting situations and by artists seeking that vintage look. It offers high resolution and wide exposure latitude. Box of 50 sheets.
You can shoot this at ISO 200 for greater contrast; or push it to 800 (or higher) with little change in grain.
SP Ultra 4LF: Finally, a developer optimized for large format film! SP-Ultra 4LF provides excellent tonal graduation and a true speed increase over the manufacturer's rating.
Our unique packaging reduces your exposure to dust and simplifies mixing. Just add hot water to make 500 ml of stock solution.
The pouch is filled with Nitrogen during production and Mylar layer reduces Oxygen permeation, thus increasing shelf life.
Low dust, Nitrogen filled pouch
Smooth gradation
Excellent shadow detail
High acutance
Moderate grain
Reusable screw cap
Recommended dilution is 1+9 for a working solution.
SP-FastFix is a hybrid fixer that contains both sodium and ammonium ions. This allows us to package it as a powder in our Mylar pouch. Easier to ship, easier to mix than tradition powders.
Just add 450 ml of water (95°F/35°C) and wait for it to dissolve.
We call it FastFix since the fixing time is about half way between a traditional fixer and a true rapid fix. Capacity is about 20% greater than most other fixers (about 60 sheets of 4x5); shelf life (after mixing) is at least a year.
Here's a couple of short videos (these are for the SP-445 but they work the same):
